Abstract

This paper tries to briefly access the legal framework of the protection and enforcement of human rights in Brazil while discussing comparable legal models. The purpose of this work is to present the historical background of the Brazilian legal system, give an overview of the Brazilian system, access effectiveness and state failure and propose changes in the framework.
